Rosebud-Lott Head Volleyball Coach Amanda Spencer reached a major milestone in her coaching career Friday night with the Lady Cougars' 3-0 win over Bartlett.
"All wins are great," said Coach Spencer. "I'm proud of the girls because you can't win without the kids and their hard work."
Spencer was surprised to learn that she was this close to this milestone, having never kept an exact count. After many questions and encouragement from the players, Spencer called previous districts to pull the stats together and realized the number was rather high.
"Honestly total wins are not something I count," Spencer said.
Spencer's 400 wins span a 26 year coaching career, nine of which have been at Rosebud-Lott.
The Lady Cougars will hope to continue this trend next Tuesday when they travel to Holland to face the Hornets.
