The Roaring Cougar Band completed their season yesterday with an appearance at the State Marching contest in San Antonio. The band have competed all season in various festivals with the ultimate goal of placing at the state competition. Even thought they missed the finals, the band has set a precedence of excellence that will continue to grow. Many students within the band are freshmen and will be able to take this experience and use it to fuel the coming years of competition. Concert season will be gearing up coming this December with the band’s Christmas Town Hall Celebration, December 15th.
