Jamarquis Johnson competed at the state track meet in Austin on Friday and repeated as the State Champion in long jump for two years in a row.
Johnson was out of medal contention until his final jump that put him over all the other competitors. He will graduate this year with the title and continue his hard work at Blinn College in the upcoming year in their football program.
