Mission: To create a bridge form high school to career success for all students – through a free, early-college associate degree program that builds skills and offers career experiences in Welding and Cybersecurity.
Vision: To become the school of choice in Central Texas.
The first year of the P-TECH program (2021-2022) is the planning phase. In this phase, Rosebud-Lott ISD will work to create program policies, develop rigorous courses, establish partnerships, and upgrade facilities and equipment to offer P-TECH students college-level courses directed toward careers in welding and cybersecurity. Starting in school year 2022-2023, students will earn college credit toward an industry-recognized associate degree and recieve hands-on work experience in a field of study tied to in-demand occupations for our region.
The P-TECH program is offered at absolutely no cost to the students.
